We will examine the transformative directions of the future development of artificial intelligence, its current limitations, and potential evolution. Given the intricacies of AI, we seek to understand and account for causality, common sense, and understanding context. We will talk about the potential combination of the logical advantages of symbolic AI with the capabilities of deep learning.
This report covers three critical areas of AI development:
1. Derivation and consideration of causal relationships.
2. World models and the context in AI.
3. Integration of symbolic AI and neural networks.
These improvements suggest a future in which AI is more powerful, reliable, efficient, and human-like.
We will look at these areas of AI development, considering the impact on business and what products and services could appear.
