The founding rector
Roman Sheremeta is the founding rector of American University Kyiv, and a professor at the School of Management named after Weatherhead, Case Western Reserve University, USA.
A famous scientist-economist of Ukrainian origin, the world’s best young economist according to the IDEAS 2018 rating, the world’s best Ukrainian economist according to Forbes 2015, and one of the best world’s young business professors according to Poets and Quants 2019.
Roman Sheremet actively participates in various initiatives for the recovery and development of Ukraine. He is a member of the National Council for the Recovery of Ukraine under the President of Ukraine. He is the co-chairman of the Ukrainian-American House and a founding member of Grand Founders.
