Joint effort is our main weapon today. The joint effort of ideas, knowledge, values, skills, resources, and people. The war disclaimed that only a general joint effort could save the country and bring us victory.
The mission of iForum – to join ideas and people – got a new meaning and now faces crucial challenges.
The participants of iForum are leading players in the Ukrainian digital and business ecosystem, and this conference is an important communications platform. Once a year, it brings together IT investors, CEOs, developers, marketers, economists, and innovators who join their ambitions to develop and implement ideas.
This year’s iForum is all about unity, all about a joint effort to save and protect life. We will gather a strong team of the country’s most powerful companies in times of war to discuss the following topics:
- the state of affairs in industries;
- ways to find solutions in difficult conditions;
- how to coordinate team efforts;
- to generate ideas that will help to unite people and bring our victory;
- joint support.
The conference will be held in compliance with safety measures – there is a shelter directly under Pavilion 1 of the International Exhibition and Convention Center, so in case of an air alert we advise participants to descend there. That is why the number of participants is limited to 5,000, while in previous years, we gathered more than 10,000 participants at this location.
iForum has been running for 13 years, as a stream of non-stop simultaneous reports on several stages, growing and transforming as a part of IT market. During this time, the number of iForum streams grew from three to ten, and the number of participants reached 13,000.
This year, the conference will meet wartime realities and measurements. The “City of the Future” exposition, which will be dedicated to Ukrainian MilTech development, and an exhibition of modern high-tech products, will remain within the framework of iForum. The number and subject of streams will change somewhat.
The event will be held at the International Exhibition Center, Kyiv.

Military Tech
Since 2023, the Military Tech stream will appear at iForum as a priority of today’s agenda. We believe that wartime caused a strong development of Ukrainian technological projects for military purposes and really gave Ukraine a chance to become #1 in the global MilTech industry. After all, it’s actually Ukraine that sets global trends and paces for military purposes projects.
We will talk globally: how can Ukraine really become the flagship of the world’s industry? Also, on urgent topics: exchange of technologies between developers.
UAV is in focus. We are talking about:
• communication between developers. After all, most teams have similar issues and need a special shared environment to solve them;
• use of UAVs with the complete suppression of communication and GPS systems;
• access to test sites – for tests and inspections, as well as – to warheads and weapons (cooperation of civilian developers and military representatives);
• introduction of successful projects into serial production. Contacts between developers and large manufacturers.
Among the participants of the discussions, there will be developers and startup founders, as well as the states of power representatives (Ministry of Digital Affairs and the Ministry of Strategic Industry), representatives of the “Drone Army”, Brave1, and others.

Advertising and Promotion
In times of a full-scale war, business owners and marketers are faced with numerous challenges and issues that require special attention and awareness. At iForum, we will discuss the most important marketing issues and topics that companies should consider in wartime:
- Changing market conditions: how to increase sales in the face of constantly changing consumer demand and priorities. The impact of competition and new risks during the war on digital strategy. User experience and customer support during wartime.
- Cases of increased sales during the war in Ukraine and the exit of Ukrainian companies to the EU, USA, and other countries markets.
- What’s new in advertising tools: Google Ads, Facebook Ads, and other advertising platforms.
- Web analytics in 2023: how to get the most data when using Google Analytics 4? How to prepare for the global changes in analytics that await us in 2024.
- Safety and Ethics: A marketer must be aware of and adhere to ethical norms in wartime. Communication scandals vs adequate advertising during wartime. Reputation and responsibility.
- Cooperation with the team and other departments: Wartime requires increased cooperation and coordination with team members and company departments. As a marketer, you must communicate with colleagues and coordinate your work to ensure interaction and success in the execution of marketing strategies – in the context of remote work, possible blackouts, and Internet shutdowns.
These questions and topics will help the director and marketer to adapt the company’s working conditions during the war and to perform their professional duties effectively.

E-commerce
E-commerce is the engine of online business and directly affects many sectors of our economy: logistics, export, real estate, digital advertising, and others.
Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine, this branch of business has been transformed quite a bit, but it has survived and continues to be an example for the world and an engine of the economy.
And it is very important that the E-commerce stream with key players is present at iForum, the main IT conference of the country. Based on my 19 years of experience in Internet marketing, I will offer a new format of the direction in which we will discuss the most important issues and the future of the development of E-commerce with the key players of the market:
• overview of the client’s behavior and his basic needs;
• development of new, previously uncommon business segments for E-commerce (food, NFT, etc.);
• E-commerce platforms (marketplaces, specialized stores, etc.);
• logistics and directions of development;
• marketing, brand, advertising, and major changes in all these matters.

Blockchain
With the advent of cryptocurrencies and the systems’ development of distributed interaction – or, as they are also called, blockchain – society has accelerated its transformations even more. In our stream, we plan to tell what cryptocurrencies are, decentralized finance, and their economic and philosophical essence.
The Cryptocurrency and Blockchain Stream will unfold this year on a larger scale, never’ve seen before. You will find the most up-to-date information on NFTs, Stablecoins, scalability, business, detailed analysis of legislative initiatives, taxation, and a fresh prospect for the industry.
We will pay attention to the regulation of cryptocurrencies in Ukraine and globally, as well as discuss the definition of private property in the digital world.
We will show how many businesses already exist and which prospective directions are still vacant so that conference participants can draw relevant conclusions for themselves and, if necessary, reorient their activity direction.
